Op 16 oktober 2024 heeft de Stichting Nationale Milieudatabase (Stichting NMD) het DigiGO bestuursakkoord ondertekend, een initiatief waarbij 40 toonaangevende partijen uit de sector zich committeerden aan het standaardiseren en uitwisselen van data.

Met dit Bestuursakkoord wordt ingezet op uniforme en betrouwbare data-uitwisseling in processen zoals ontwerpen, vergunnen, bouwen en beheren. Door milieuprestatiedata van bouwmaterialen te verstrekken, ondersteunt Stichting NMD de sector bij het maken van milieubewuste keuzes. Deze data zijn essentieel voor bedrijven die willen voldoen aan de duurzaamheids- en circulariteitseisen van de toekomst. Dit wordt gedaan binnen beleidsmaatregel 10 van het bestuursakkoord, genaamd Digitale uitwisseling milieuproductdata.

Binnen beleidsmaatregel 10 zijn 5 sub-beleidsmaatregelen opgesteld, waarin Stichting NMD de trekker is van submaatregel 10.5. Hierin staat dat er door middel van pilots onderzocht wordt of en hoe de data van Stichting NMD breder ingezet kan worden. Hierin zal gebruik gemaakt worden van het DSGO-afsprakenstelsel.

Inmiddels zijn inventariserende gesprekken gevoerd met meer dan 30 stakeholders, vanuit alle posities in het stelsel. Hieruit zijn verschillende richtingen geïdentificeerd waar Stichting NMD een rol kan spelen in bredere en betere digitale samenwerking. Dit is vervolgens vertaald naar 4 losse DigiDeals. Door deze opzet worden alle vraagstukken behandeld, maar blijven de werkgroepen werkbaar. De 4 digideals zijn de volgende:

De invulling van deze DigiDeals is nog volop in ontwikkeling, en momenteel wordt hard gewerkt aan de projectplannen. Dit gebeurt onder meer door een workshop, waarin de betrokken stakeholders aansluiten om de DigiDeal zo specifiek en bruikbaar mogelijk te maken. De eerste hiervan is achter de rug, en de volgende workshops zijn gepland. Stichting NMD kijkt uit naar de implementatie hiervan, om de impact van milieudata groter te maken, en zo te werken richting een duurzamere gebouwde omgeving.

On October 16, 2024, the Dutch Environmental Database (Stichting NMD) signed the DigiGO administrative agreement—an initiative in which 40 leading organizations from the sector committed to the standardization and exchange of data.

This agreement aims to promote uniform and reliable data exchange across processes such as design, permitting, construction, and management. By providing environmental performance data on construction materials, Stichting NMD supports the sector in making environmentally conscious choices. These data are essential for companies striving to meet future sustainability and circularity requirements. This effort falls under Policy Measure 10 of the agreement, titled Digital Exchange of Environmental Product Data.

Policy Measure 10 includes five sub-measures, with Stichting NMD taking the lead on Submeasure 10.5. This submeasure involves pilot studies to explore whether and how the data provided by Stichting NMD can be applied more broadly. The DSGO agreements framework will be used as part of these efforts.

To date, exploratory discussions have been held with more than 30 stakeholders representing all positions within the system. These conversations identified several areas where Stichting NMD can contribute to broader and more effective digital collaboration. These insights have been translated into four separate DigiDeals. This setup ensures that all key topics are addressed while keeping the working groups manageable.

The content and implementation of these DigiDeals are still in full development, and project plans are currently being worked on intensively. This includes workshops in which the relevant stakeholders participate to make each DigiDeal as specific and practical as possible. The first workshop has already taken place, and the next ones are scheduled.
